Civita Trays

Portable nesting trays featuring images Rao collected about a regional history of linen were assembled and placed across the Italian hill town of Civita di Bagnoregio during the artist’s Civita Institute Fellowship. Residents of the town would engage with and sometimes move the trays, with their dispersal an intentional effect of the work.
