A Lake for Aai, A Grove for Me is a wearable publication created in 2024. The work consisting of a garment made from naturally dyed, handloom indigenous Indian cotton, salvaged polyester, and trims, accompanied by a printed score on paper. The movement score is composed for the artist’s grandmother, acknowledging her limited mobility due to age and ailing limbs, and for the artist herself. The work invites participation and adaptability, allowing each wearer to reconfigure and determine how to wear the garment, shaping their own interpretation of the score.
