Reading Through I was a participatory, performative installation for the Serendipity Arts Festival in 2019. The artist introduced objects, including wearable garments, into the space, rearranging them to facilitate engagement with the audience. Rao was present in the exhibition space, making and moving objects, and activating the gallery space as a workshop and studio. 

 

Rao received the Serendipity Arts Foundation Fine Arts Grant in 2019 culminating in this independent exhibition of her work at the Serendipity Arts Festival that year.
