During her studio residency at The Here & There Collective (Brooklyn, New York, 2025), Rao conducted a series of spatial studies, using the studio to test relationships among her works toward exhibition configurations. The works included installations, books, garments, framed tissue paper works, and sculptural works made with plaster, wood, ceramic, bronze, and glass. Several of the works were created during her Bemis Center residency and alongside her SOMA Summer residency in 2025.
